Northgate had hit the agency ceiling: too small to win the £200k retainers, too senior to want a £50k retainer that ate the studio for two months. They needed a hidden production studio they could trust with brand-sensitive work, not a freelance marketplace.

MONTH 1
Signed Northgate's standard NDA before any client work was discussed. Built a private brand library covering tone, formatting and 'how Northgate writes'. We can produce work in their voice without asking on day one.
ONGOING
Northgate's lead drops briefs into our portal. The same two senior designers handle every brief so they get sharper at Northgate's clients over time. Average single-brief turnaround: 36 hours.
QUARTERLY
Every quarter we sit with Northgate's MD and review what we've produced, the markup applied, and the pipeline we're sized for. We'll proactively suggest pausing if we see them overbooked, not just upselling.
