Why we do this
Creative work has a hidden climate cost
Every project we create, from brand design and websites to AI builds and motion, uses a bit of energy somewhere. We do not think it is right to keep adding to that footprint and quietly walk away.
So we partner with Ecologi, a UK climate-finance platform that funds Gold-Standard carbon-avoidance projects and verified reforestation worldwide. Solar in India, wind in Vietnam, mangroves in Madagascar, native woodland in Scotland.
Ecologi has funded millions of trees and helped neutralise thousands of tonnes of CO₂ for businesses around the world, and every transaction lives on a public ledger anyone can audit. Nothing is invented, nothing is hidden.
How it works
Five steps, fully automated
You never touch a button. Our studio portal runs the whole loop in the first three days of every month and writes a permanent record to your account.
We calculate
Each project type has a published carbon weight in kg of CO₂. We add them up per client, and we always round up.
We fund
We pay Ecologi to offset the total through Gold-Standard certified carbon-avoidance projects. The money leaves our account, not yours.
We plant
On our default tier we also fund one real tree per project in Ecologi's reforestation portfolio. Thousands of trees a year, across our roster.
We record
Every offset is logged in your portal with a date, a CO₂ figure, the cost, the tree count, and a public Ecologi impact link.
The footprint
What every project type weighs
These figures cover designer compute, file storage and delivery, average meeting load, and production where it applies. Sources include the public emission factors used by Mailchimp and Wholegrain Digital. A project that mixes types just adds them together, so a logo plus a landing page plus an Instagram post is 3.0 + 5.0 + 0.2 = 8.2 kg.

We intentionally round every figure up, so the offset is always slightly larger than the true footprint.

Every figure links straight through to Ecologi's public ledger, so your team, investors and auditors can verify each offset and each tree. Everything refreshes on the 1st of every month, with no spreadsheets, no admin and nothing extra on your invoice.

Footprints are calculated using published emission factors for designer compute, file storage and delivery, meeting load, and production. Figures are conservative, always rounded up so we offset slightly more than the true footprint. Rates: £9.45 per tonne CO₂ and £0.60 per tree (Ecologi 2025/26). Carbon avoidance is delivered through Gold-Standard certified projects in Ecologi's portfolio. Tree planting is delivered through Ecologi's verified reforestation partners. Full transaction references and impact links are stored on every monthly offset run.
